July, 2003 Edition
The July, 2003 edition of the Criminal Law Bench Book is the first to be distributed on compact disc.  The principle editors of this edition originally intended to offer it in a WordPerfect format as well as in Adobe and Word.  Converting the document into WordPerfect resulted in changes to the bulleting and to the font characteristics which were distracting and affected the pagination and, in some cases, altered the meaning or emphasis of the text.  The editors decided to omit the WordPerfect version, however, judges still using that program may view the document through the Word viewer included on the disc. The editors are pleased to obtain your input to improve either the content or the form of the Criminal Law Bench Book.
